Our bride Jaclyn married in Canmore, AB, tucked into the Rocky Mountains, and the day was as magical as the setting. She wrote to us about the gown she fell for at first sight, her time with Bisou Bridal, and a few words for the brides still dreaming of their own day.

Finding the Silhouette

For Jaclyn, the one was the very first dress she tried on . The moment she put it on, she knew. It felt made for her.

Jaclyn had a clear vision of the bride she wanted to be: timeless, whimsical, and unapologetically feminine, in a gown that felt entirely her own. As she put it,

Her bridal stylist Dani guided her through the appointment, curating a handful of gowns from Jaclyn's description of the bride she imagined herself to be. That silhouette, the one that felt like it was made for her, was the Phillipa by Vera Wang Haute.

"The process was extremely easy for me. Being the first shop I went into, I was naturally a little nervous to try on wedding dresses. Dani was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a few gowns based on what I wanted. My experience was nothing but positive."

For Jaclyn, the yes came the moment she stepped into it. The first gown was the one.
