Do you provide alterations?
We have a very reputable in-house seamstress. No stress, no fuss – all services are completed here. Please keep in mind the majority of gowns will require alterations and that the average alteration cost is approx. $250 to $350, dependent on the scope of work being done. Are the dresses made to measure, so made to my exact measurements?
The dresses are not made to measure but rather custom ordered. You choose the colour, the style, size, and in some cases the fabric that you would like the dress to be made in. We can help you determine what would be a good size by measuring you then referring to the designer’s size chart. Can my bridesmaids, mother or mother-in-law find a dress at Bisou Bridal?
Yes. When you purchase your wedding gown at Bisou Bridal, your bridesmaids (minimum of 3) receive 10% off our special order bridesmaid’s collections. How far in advance do I need to order my wedding gown?
We recommend ordering your wedding dress 6 months in advance. This will give you enough time to schedule your dress fittings, while avoiding the possibility of rush charges from the designer. If your wedding is less than 6 months away let us know and we’ll work with you to get your dress to you in time. What sizes do you carry?
Our sample gowns range in size from 8 to 16 with the majority of our sample gowns between size 10 and 12. Gowns are available for ordering from size 0 to size 28. Sample sizes are ordered to fit as many body silhouettes as possible, and we will pin and tuck as needed to show you how a gown in size fits. What is the average price of a bridal gown?
Our gowns range from $1500 to $8000, with the average price of our gowns around $2500. We do carry a small sampling of destination styles under $1500. Are appointments required for trying on wedding gowns?
